It was a decidedly chance encounter. I was trying to decide between two fast food joints – Chick-fil-A or Wendy’s. It was then that I noticed the couple standing on the side of the road, waiting to cross the heavily trafficked four lanes just off the interstate, intent of Wendy’s.
